India Women to play first Test in eight years

India Women will play their first Test match in eight years during their upcoming tour of England. They will play one four-day Test and three ODIs on the tour, which begins with a two-day warm-up match at Loughborough on August 7 and 8 and concludes with the third ODI at Lord's on August 25. Mithali Raj will lead the team.

Of all the players in the 15-person squad, only Raj, vice-captain Karuna Jain and medium-pacer Jhulan Goswami have any Test experience. All three featured in India's last Test match, a five-wicket win over England at Taunton in 2006.
